• It’s the Friday Night Drabble Party before Halloween!

So, what am I going to do about it? Well, I’m going to post 31 drabbles at once! This is a collection I wrote during October 2009. I wrote a single drabble every day of that month. The hardest part was not writing two in one day, I had to control myself and only write one a day so that I could actually say each one was written on the day it represents.

So get ready for “31 Drabbles Of Halloween”!

    Enjoy!

Disclaimer: I kept these pretty much PG-13, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t disturbing. You know, like Hitchcock disturbing.

  • Happy Halloween Everyone!

Yeah, it’s my favorite day of the year! Seriously, ever since I was a small child I have loved Halloween. For me it hasn’t been about the candy (although that always was a HUGE bonus), it’s always been about letting my inner monster flag fly!

So, in honor of Halloween, All Hallow’s Eve, Samhain, Candy Night or whatever you want to call it, I have prepared a special treat (trick?) for you.

All month long I have written one drabble a day just for this occasion, with the final drabble written just this morning.

I have to say, this was quite an endeavor. How do you come up with 31 distinctly different stories? The hardest part was only writing one each day. I had to show restraint, no matter how many ideas were floating around, and wait until the following day to write the next one.

I know I told some of you that I would record these and put them in the Dead Mech feed, but time and life have made that difficult, so it’s just going to be a free PDF.

So, without further ado, I present: “31 Drabbles Of Halloween”!

    Enjoy!

Disclaimer: While I have made sure not to use any profanity in these, they still may not be suitable for younger audiences. I advise reading them first before sharing them with your children (or squeamish spouse). If you think your kids can handle them then please share. Heck, I was reading Poe at age 6!
