Dead Mech/The Apex Trilogy

Hundreds of years after the zombie apocalypse decimates the world, human civilization has put itself back together again. Their secret weapon against the zombie hordes: the Mechs. Massive robotic battle machines.

But what happens when a mech pilot dies in his mech and becomes a zombie?

Hell on earth is unleashed…

Prepare for a high action, fast paced, hell ride through a futuristic wasteland as Mech Base Commander James Capreze and his crew of mech pilots battle zombies, cannibals, religious cults and worst of all, the Dead Mechs, all to try and save the human race one last time.

Jake Bible’s Dead Mech:
The future may not be completely dead, but it’s on its way…

The Americans-

Hundreds of years after the United States is turned into a radioactive, zombie infested wasteland, the descendants of peacekeeping troops stranded abroad are now the world’s marshals, keeping law and order in a futuristic landscape of high-tech feudalism and raw, bioorganic metal.

They are known simply as: The Americans.

The exciting sidequel to DEAD MECH takes you on a hellride through Europe, Asia and beyond as American Ghost Heather Walton must save her family, her friends, and an all important cargo, as all Americans struggle to maintain their place in a world where the powers that be no longer want them. And will stop at nothing to put an end to their standing and their very existence!

Haven’t read DEAD MECH? Not a problem! The Americans is a stand-alone novel that takes place at the same time as the events in DEAD MECH. Read either one first then get ready for the third and final book in the Apex Trilogy, Metal and Ash!

Metal and Ash-

What began in the wasteland of DEAD MECH, continued alongside in Europe and Asia in The Americans, now has its epic conclusion in Metal and Ash!

Commander James Capreze and his team of mech pilots no longer must battle just zombies, cannibals, religious cults and the ever dreaded dead mechs. Now they will be put to the test by the forces of the Three as the evil alliance bent on dominating every inch of the world attacks from two fronts, forcing Capreze to split his forces and make alliances with those he had been sworn to defeat. The wasteland becomes the setting for an epic fight for basic human survival like it hasn’t seen in hundreds of years.

Will fifty foot battle mechs be enough against hundreds of thousands of techno-zombies ready to wipe everything living off the scorched map that is the wasteland?

Join Capreze, his mech pilots, the refugee Americans, end every denizen of the wasteland as they make one final stand to keep the Three from bringing humanity’s downfall. Alliances are formed and broken, mech pilots are made and murdered, secrets are revealed and agendas destroyed, and thousands of bodies fall and rise again in the Apex Trilogy finale: Metal and Ash!

  1. Thanks for these great books. Enjoyed all three

  2. hey i just got done listening to the first book on audible and loved it. Are the other two going to be turned into audio books?

    • I’m glad you liked it and, yes, the other two will become audiobooks. The production is taking longer than planned, but hopefully The Americans will be available this fall and Metal & Ash not too long after.

  3. I have listened to the first 2 parts of this trilogy please record the third will pay for box set

    • DEAD MECH is now an audiobook with a new narrator and all new production. The Americans will be out in a couple months, followed by Metal and Ash a couple months after that. Unfortunately, I no longer offer my novels as free podcasts due to the overwhelming amount of work it takes to produce them. Be on the lookout for announcements! Cheers!

  4. I just want to tell you how much I have enjoyed your Podcasts. I have the e-book Dead Mech, and I have to buy The Americans, and Metal and Ash as soon as possible. Thank you for your hard work with these books. Keep up the great work.

  5. When will Metal and Ash be available on Audible?

  6. Hey jake, when is Metal and Ash being released on audiobook??

  7. Is there any possibility of Dead Mech hitting the big screen?

  8. Pandapocolypse

dude you are THE Man, I loved dead mech when I listened to it years ago before I even knew it was a trilogy, loved it. now Ive bought all three and am on the last hour of metal and ash. I just gotta ask are you gonna do anything more in this universe? besides the prequel short?

  9. Jake, I have read the story through Zburbia to Dead Team Alpha to Metal and Ash, and it has been the best series ever. Thank you. Are you going to do more Zburbia? I love these books and want more, I know DTA and the Apex are done, but more would be wonderful.

    • I’d like to do more Z-Burbia but time/sales will dictate when. Maybe towards the end of this year 🙂

      • I have loved it all, and just got through Mech Corps, the world is wonderful, any other directly related books coming out in the series, in any time line, they are all great reads!

      • Thanks! Could be a while before I write any more mecha novels. Waiting for interest in the genre to ick up. We’ll see!

      • Then I must work to Generate! What is the next thing on the agenda, your stories hold me through out, so, I guess I need to pick up something outside of the Zburbia epic.

      • The Roak books are great. Try those. I have Galactic Vice and Agent Prime coming out soon. Both set in the same universe as Roak and Salvage Merc One (plus Drop Team Zero and Outpost Hell). You may dig those!
