• And a happy Friday Night Drabble Party to you!

Tonight I sit here and wonder about the future of the state I live in. Which has inspired tonight’s drabble.

This one is not subtle. Not at all.

    Enjoy!

  • Oh, happy day! It’s Friday and May the 4th be with you!

You ready for some drabble-tastic party goodness? I know you are!

Tonight’s is a stand alone, not related to previous works, but it sure could be. Wouldn’t mind expanding this one at some point.

    Enjoy!

    Pay What is Owed

  • Friday, yo!

When this posts I’ll be sitting in the audience watching my boy rock the Asheville City Schools WordSlam poetry slam. He’s gonna rip those words up!

And you guys get something special too! Last week I posted a drabble that may end up being a part of the storyline for the third book in the Apex Trilogy. Well, tonight’s drabble is for sure part of the storyline. I’ve had this planned for a while. It isn’t a spoiler since this will be part of the prologue, but it should peak your interest.

    Enjoy!

    Without Incident

  • FRIDAY!

    DRABBLE!

    PARTY!

And, yes, tonight’s drabble has a bit of DEAD MECH flavor to it. I am currently outlining and planning the third book in the Apex Trilogy, Metal and Ash. So, to get me back in that head, I am going to be releasing some drabbles that are set in the world of DEAD MECH and The Americans. Does this mean that this scene will be in the new novel? Perhaps. But I make no guarantees! It’ll be fun seeing what I come up with, though!

    Enjoy!

    Unleash

    Cheers!

Disclaimer: And when there is no more room in Hell…

  • Friday the 13th! Is this date special here at the Party? Nah, it’s freakin’ Friday the 13th every Friday here! I mean, come on, have you read these drabbles?

You know what my process is for writing these? I sit down first thing Friday morning and start typing. Usually the first sentence tells me what the story will be. Rarely do I have it planned out. There may be a stimulus prompt (sirens, breakfast, stapler on my desk), but more often than naught I just write. Keeps it from getting boring!

And that’s how I wrote this one; on the fly. Let me know what you think.

    Enjoy!

    Can’t Stop Now

    Cheers!
