Writing In Suburbia #60: The One Where I Interview Myself! And Fail Hard…
Welcome back, y’all!
It’s time for episode #60! Woo hoo!
In this episode, I attempt to interview myself. No, seriously. It’s all part of a new segment I’ll be including in Writing In Suburbia twice a month. I’ll be interviewing writers and asking them two questions: Why do you write? and, What was, or still is, the hardest part about being a writer?
I’ve already got some great interviews recorded.
But I thought it would be fun to break y’all in with an interview of myself. Fun? Sure. Funny? Yeah, I crack myself up.
So, have a listen and enjoy!
Cheers!

Writing In Suburbia #59: Fear And Loathing In 2018!
Happy New Year, y’all!
In this episode I switch things up a little: I chose theme music! I have also added show notes! Check ’em out.
I chat about the ups and downs of income as a pro writer and my fear of what 2018 could be like if there aren’t more ups. I also chat about a certain PLAGIARIST in our midst who has stolen Roak: Galactic Bounty Hunter and tried to make it his own. Full on prose theft, y’all. The guy is a scumbag. Pure and simple.
So, have a listen as I lay out some fears and some loathings.
Cheers!

Writing In Suburbia #58: Let’s Talk About Stress, Baby!
The Holiday season is upon us! And with that comes stress.
Now, I don’t tend to get stressed out around Holiday time because I have the soothing balms of Xmas music coupled with making Chex Mix. But, that doesn’t mean I don’t have other stresses!
So, in this episode I discuss the stresses I feel as a professional writer and how 2017 hasn’t exactly been a great year. Not only do I chat about my stresses, I also chat about how I cope with all the stress! Solutions! Huzzah!
Have a listen and also have a Happy Holiday and Happy New Year!
Cheers!

Writing In Suburbia #55: Attack The Con!!!
It’s Dragon*Con time!
In this episode I chat about getting prepared for the massive con that is Dragon*Con. 80,000+ folks will be in downtown Atlanta, so prepping is a good idea. I talk about how to survive once you are there and also to know your agenda and motivations if you are going as a professional.
It’s gonna be a blast! Hope to see some of you at Dragon*Con!
Enjoy!

Writing In Suburbia #53: Build That Audience!
I’m back! It’s been a while since the last episode, but life is life, right?
This episode I chat a little about my attempts to build my audience more. I’m still finding my footing on that, so we get to stumble together on this one.
Enjoy!
(Oh, and Roak is $.99 right now! Get it while the getting is good!)
