  • Tonight’s Friday Night Drabble Party is dedicated to Tia L. Brink, a wonderful woman that passed away this week.

Tia was a valuable member of the online/podcasting/literary community. She was one of those remarkable people that was part editor, taskmaster, fan, follower, friend, cheerleader and downright funny person. Tia always knew what to say and when to say it and I know I wasn’t the only person that admired her for that.

    She will truly be missed.

So, in her honor, tonight’s drabble was specially written. It has a different flow and feel, more akin to poetry than prose, but it’s still 100 words. Tia would have wanted me to stick to my guns and be consistent.

    Thanks Tia and goodbye…

    …That Came Before

Disclaimer: I debated whether to still call tonight “Friday Night Drabble Party”, thinking it may not be appropriate. But then I found this quote: “While grief is fresh, every attempt to divert only irritates. You must wait till it be digested, and then amusement will dissipate the remains of it.” –Samuel Johnson

  • Howdy Y’all!

Here’s some fiction to break up all that interview craziness I’ve been subjecting y’all to.

The folks at The Drabblecast were kind enough to produce my drabble collection, “Seven Deadly Drabbles”, last year.

    Hope y’all like it.

    Cheers!
