Another episode of Writing In Suburbia is in the can. Not the toilet can, the audio tape can. Which doesn’t really exist since this is all digital. I HAVE CONFUSED MYSELF!
Speaking of confusion, this episode is all about how to ignore all the crazy writing advice on the internet that insists you are doing it wrong. You aren’t. Have a listen and you’ll hear my many rants and tangents on this subject.
Hope y’all enjoy!
I’m back! It’s been a while since the last episode, but life is life, right?
This episode I chat a little about my attempts to build my audience more. I’m still finding my footing on that, so we get to stumble together on this one.
This week’s (month’s?) episode is all about how aspiring (hate that word) writers make excuses not to do the work. Which is total BS. I talk about how you have complete power and control over where, when, and how you write, so shut up with the excuses!
I also talk about my pending gallbladder surgery. Fun!
It’s March and time for another episode of Writing In Suburbia!
In this episode I talk about transitions. Whether transitioning to a new genre, new readership, or a whole new format, transition happens, y’all.
Welcome back to another episode of Writing In Suburbia. Episode #50! Woo Hoo!
In this episode I talk about how to stay motivated in the face of this hell that our country and world has become. I go into great detail, and rant quite a bit, about how hard it is to keep writing escapist fiction. I also talk about how escapist fiction is what folks are looking for.
Did I mention the rant?
Enjoy the episode.
